Nissei Well has been donating printing materials and funds to Stepping Stones since 2012 in name of supporting the next generation in China towards their personal fulfillment. Grace Wang, Kevin Wu and their teams enable the plan in practice by their professional service and work. Stepping Stones is a non-profit organization registered in Shanghai in 2006, dedicated to improving the education and basic welfare of vulnerable children in China. More than 100 volunteers are currently teaching computer skills, English and science to 10,000 to 15,000 children of migrant workers in Shanghai and children left behind in rural areas in China every year. Since 2008, stepping Stones has also provided glasses to about 4,000 children of migrant workers with poor eyesight.
In November 2018, Corinne Richeux Hua, the founder of Stepping Stones, was awarded British Empire Medal in recognition of her meritorious contribution to China and the world.
Let’s keep close eyes on Stepping Stones’ growth and do everything we can to spur its development for the future.
